Hollywood Homicide

Let's just get it out in the open. This movie pretty much sucked. Especially for what "genre" it was supposed to fit into. It was labelled as an action/comedy. Did this movie have either??? NO! And surprisingly the movie was blessed with the acting abilities of Harrison Ford and Josh Harnett. They didn't pull through at all. Being a huge comedy and action fan, I was terribly disappointed. Harrison is a bitter ol' cop and his partner, Josh, is a yoga teaching cop who wants to be an actor. The jist of it is, that this rap group gets murdered at a club by Dwight Yokum's thugs and the Duo have to catch them. Very basic plot. Too basic. So basic in fact that I was able to check my email, go to the store to buy chips, and "get-it-on" and still be able to catch up with the story and not miss anything. Action wise......there wasn't even a good car chase. The most action was Josh chasing a bad guy across a bridge because he didn't want to get his suit wet. And I can't even remember one funny moment. Ususally there is atleast one joke that one can remember from a movie, whether it's shitty or not. But no, not this one. 2 thumbs down for war-amps on this film.
